WTB: Tan seats for 88 325i Conv.31 Jan 2005 18:29 GMT3
I am in the market for tan leather driver/passenger seats for a 1988 325i
convertible.  I have been told they will be next to impossible to find.  Does
anyone have any suggestions for a substitution.  I would really rather not go
vinyl.
Input needed on Tokico struts / shocks31 Jan 2005 16:12 GMT6
As my subject line says, I'm looking for input on Tokico struts / shocks
for my 1994 325is. I'm currently running 1 year old Bilstein monotubes and I
truly detest them.
I'm thinking of going with the Tokico HPs all the way around. I've used

bearings area which I do not really know the name and have not been able
to find in any of the online suppliers?

Rear Diff Q for 320i coupe 1994/M31 Jan 2005 13:15 GMT8
[alt.autos.bmw,uk.rec.cars.misc]
I'm in the process of sourcing a rear diff for a 320i coupe (This was the
cause of the vibration in the rear wheels I posted a while back).
One chap has rung back and asked if its the one with 4 or 6 bolts in the

That is, everyone except one person who has continuously and constantly
Sprint phones that work with bluetooth????30 Jan 2005 20:55 GMT4
Just got a new BMW x5 with built in bluetooth and the dealer is saying for
me to switch carriers because SPRINT does not have any compatable phones.
They said that Sprint usto carry the SE T605 but when they stopped that was
the end of the line for compatability.  My question is ...

New BMW Model29 Jan 2005 17:12 GMT9
I followed a new model BMW home last night. I couldn't tell what model it
was. It was a two door, but it wasn't a 3 Series, it was closer to a 5 by
its size, but I have seen the new 5 Series and this car did not look like
them.
Add OBC?29 Jan 2005 14:03 GMT1
How easy is it to add an OBC to an E36? Is there a wiring harness to plug in
somewhere, or is a lot more involved than that?
Getting the parts isnt a problem, just any advice on how to do it would be
appreciated, I'm not worried about the temp sensor either,

Labour costs to change a differential ?29 Jan 2005 01:44 GMT33
Wow! On a BMW 320i one garage quoted 8 300ukp+vat labour to change a diff.
This is the garage I usually phone to get a worst case scenario type quote!
My local one is letting me source my own diff (for 150 UKP) and want approx
225+vat for labour.
iDrive?28 Jan 2005 22:48 GMT16
Who has iDrive in their BMW? I have been looking at the very recent articles
on the new 3 Series in various British motoring magazines, and they almost
all look negatively on it. Why is this, is it just because it is 'fiddly' to
use, or what?
