Rain Sensor Help needed please.07 Jan 2005 17:29 GMT16
I have a 1999 328ci with rain sensor fitted.
I only bought the vehicle a few weeks ago, but the rain sensor seemed to
work fine.
I now notice that whenever I put the wipers into intermittent/rain sensor
E36 Air bag recall?06 Jan 2005 22:43 GMT3
I have a 325TDS touring c1997 (UK P reg) with the airbag light on.
The fault shows as the firing circuit for the passenger seat belt tensioner.
I believe these cars we the subject of a recall for the wiring under the
seat.

99 M3 burning oil?06 Jan 2005 20:26 GMT2
I have a 99 M3 Coupe which went lost 3 out of the 8 quarts of oil since
my last oil change (5k miles). It is unlikely that the shop forgot to
top of the oil so I am wondering if my car burns oil. I have heard
that bimmers do burn more oil than most cars, especially when driven
WTB: BMW 733i toolkit replacement.06 Jan 2005 20:20 GMT3
I've recently purchased a BMW 733i, and it's missing just about everything
in the toolkit.
Any way to replace these items without second-guessing at the hardware shop?
Could a premade kit, perhaps from BMW themselves, be available?
The All-New 2006 3 Series06 Jan 2005 19:35 GMT11
Hello there, have you been to BMW's website?  I saw their new 3-series today
and I was relieved to see that it doesn't look as bad as the 5-series.
Overall it looks fine, although I still prefer the hood on the current
3-series, in which the kidney grills are built into the hood. ...
E36 318i, Running rough06 Jan 2005 19:13 GMT2
My 1997 318 has started to run slightly rough, its more notice able when the
engine is cold, it seems to stall quite easily and every now and again it
will miss , once the engine is warm it seems to run fine. Any body any ideas
where i should start to look?
Average life of 3 Series clutch06 Jan 2005 19:10 GMT20
It seems I may either have a worn clutch, or perhaps an oil leak of some
sort, which is causing my 2000 318Ci to 'judder' when pulling away from
stationary. I spoke with a colleague at work today who had exactly the same
problem on her 316, which on investigation revealed a ...
Good bike rack/receiver hitch for E46 330i?06 Jan 2005 01:05 GMT6
Can anyone recommend a good receiver hitch and bike rack for said hitch
that would fit an E46 330i?
Emphasis here is on the receiver hitch. Don't want to do any welding or
more drilling than absolutely necessary. Powder coated would be nice.
1998 740iL Navigation System05 Jan 2005 20:35 GMT2
My 740 started experiencing an ejection problem
last week and I am totally dependent on my NavSystem.  When I insert the
disc, after about 20-30 seconds it ejects and the nav screen reads, "CD
not loaded..(or something along those lines)
Snow Chains not allowed?  WTF?05 Jan 2005 17:10 GMT24
I'm heading up to ski on Monday, and was going to go pick up some snow chains
for the 330Cic.
I look in my manual, and it first discusses how I should only by overpriced
"official BMW" chains from the dealer, blah blah blah fine whatever.
Inspection II05 Jan 2005 15:47 GMT2
I have a certified 2001 325ci .
How vital is it to get the inspection II done in order to keep my
certified warranty active? That is how many miles can I go over before
my warranty is voided?
Cheap Imports? Beware of fraud05 Jan 2005 15:13 GMT8
Re: Doug Smith, St Albans
Fake "Car Importer"
I just thought I better share my recent, very bad, experience.
I was given the name and number of someone who claimed he could get very
Door panel clips glued?05 Jan 2005 14:42 GMT6
My 318ti door panels have plastic retainer clips "glued" to the
fiberboard.  It almost feels and looks like a glob of hot melt glue.
Several have popped off.  Can't imagine what kind of glue will stick to
the plastic and the wax like factory glue.
3 Series IPod Interface Set Up05 Jan 2005 13:26 GMT8
Has anyone had the Ipod hooked up to their BMW yet? If so, which Ipod? Also,
did the BMW center do it for you and how much did it cost?
Thanks
David
