E46 M3 convertible top 28 Jan 2005 21:27 GMT5
Does anyone have problem with squeaking noise because of the convertible top
of M3? Almost to a point its annoying because of the noise it makes whenever
car hits a little bump. My car is 2004 with 11K miles.
Dealer says there is no cure for it but as usual I do not believe that.

on the clock.
Here's my quandary.  Since owning the car, I've had to bring it in to the

Outside temperature sensor busted by an alignment???28 Jan 2005 15:03 GMT9
Yesterday I noticed that the outside temperature readout on my 2001
530i was off (higher) by about 25-30 deg Farenheit.  I was pretty sure
that it'd worked fine very, very recently and, after pondering it for a
bit, realized that I'd just taken the car in the day before to get an
e60 and mp328 Jan 2005 14:37 GMT1
I have a 2005 model BMW E60 with "Business"  CD-player. There is mention in
owners manual that player is capable to play MP3 audio from cd-r/rw. But in
practice it doesn't work with normal cd-r/rw that works well with my old JVC
MP3 player. Is there something settings or disc ...

How to remove/repair/replace arm rest on a 5 Series28 Jan 2005 01:55 GMT3
I have a 1992 525i and the drivers arm rest is swinging loose.  There
doesn't appear to be a simple way to remove it for repair or replace.
Has anyone ever done this and can provide some advice/counsel?
Thanks
Battery failure on E3428 Jan 2005 00:28 GMT17
I've had an E34 520 for about a year.  I use it about twice a week to
drive 100 miles.
I had last used in on Sunday (only a short journey, about 10 miles) and
then when I started it on Thursday the car turned over a little slower
'88 E28 535i service light reset tip?28 Jan 2005 00:02 GMT4
Just had the 235,000 mile service at the local Jiffy Lube.  Problem is they
don't have the proper resetting tool for the service light on the dash.
Anyone outline the procedure for jumping the connector and making everything
right in the world again?
MARCS BMW Parts - Beware!27 Jan 2005 22:25 GMT3
These guys in Ft. Lauderdale will not return your emails.
They take your money and do eventually send a part but will not reply when
the part goes bad.
I don't understand why businesses choose to be this way.

"Check" problem? 5-series27 Jan 2005 21:01 GMT7
1992 525i - in the check area, it constantly shows that one brake light
is out.  Both brake lights work fine, but just to be sure I replaced
both bulbs, but to no avail - the light stays on.  Anyone have any
ideas what the problem might be?  Thanks
