Does my 323i have hand free phone option?10 Jan 2005 21:56 GMT3
I just got a 2000 323i and it did not have the stereo manual.  On the
steering wheel I have 2 buttons and I think they go to a hands free cell
phone option.  They are just below the up/down station preset buttons.
One is R/T and the one below that has a picture of a face with ...

How bad is it to get at the heater core in a '95 325i?
1994 525i10 Jan 2005 18:40 GMT3
Hello. New to this group:)
I recently bought my new/old BMW from a friend of mine.
My question is:
The dashboard computer kept signaling one of the taillights was out.
7-Series Makeover10 Jan 2005 17:53 GMT25
I heard that they are going to do a 7 Series makeover, possibly smoothing out some of the Bangleness.  Does anyone know when this is going to happen?  Any pics yet?
318i high idle10 Jan 2005 09:36 GMT1
Welcoming all relevant suggestions for fixing a high idle.
528e wiper problem10 Jan 2005 09:35 GMT1
Our 1986 528e 's wipers will not shut off once they are turned on.  They
will change speed, but not operate intermittently.
Wheel bolts instead of lug nuts...why?09 Jan 2005 21:17 GMT57
Recently bought a 330i and learned, much to my surprise and disgust,
that BMW used bolts instead of lug nuts to attach wheels to the car.
This makes mounting wheels much more difficult than with lug nuts (and
wheel studs). You need three hands instead of two. (Most folks only have ...

Can anyone tell me with which gearbox I'll have better acceleration? 4-speed
manula or 5 speed manual ?
the car is 733i 1977...
thanks...
Fogging Windows09 Jan 2005 19:26 GMT6
I have a 2001 325cj and I'm having a problem with the windows fogging
up.
Not just the windshield mind you but every window in the car.
The defroster takes care of the windshield but not the door windows or
98/540ia timing cover removal ?09 Jan 2005 18:49 GMT6
I seem to have developed a nasty leak coming from the timing cover on the
drivers side on 98/540ia and i am trying to find out how difficult this is
to repair. Do I have to lift the engine to remove everything I need in order
to remove the cover plate(s). It is not clear in the ...
Door Hinge Damage Question09 Jan 2005 17:57 GMT4
Technical question - I've noticed that some people (for whatever
reason) aren't too fussed about using quite some force in throwing open
their doors all the way, until it hits the retainer, before getting out
of their BMW.
7 Series09 Jan 2005 14:33 GMT9
Holy Cow.... I think somebody is a little bit sensitive.  Corey, are you sleeping with Mr. Bangle?  I simply asked when is BMW going to do the next 7 series makeover, and you interpret it as "whining".  I think the only "whining" is to be found in your defensive rant.  And after ...
price advice on 2004 325Ci09 Jan 2005 13:17 GMT1
Today I was looking at a leftover 2004 325Ci coupe that has about 20 miles
on it and has never been registered.  The sticker was originally $35,700;
they are asking $32,900.  Does $2800 seem like a fair discount for a 2004
model?
mice in 94 740IL glove box09 Jan 2005 02:53 GMT7
Anyone else experience mice nests in a BMW glove compartment?  I put traps
in the garage, which seems to have stopped it for the time being.  Had to
clean out nests every 2-3 days for the last month.
Windscreen washers07 Jan 2005 18:05 GMT3
1987 320i E30
Apart from the pump, what should I check to fix windscreen washers
that stopped working some time ago ? The wipers work fine.
Is there a relay somewhere ? I can't find any help in Haynes.
