Can anyone confirm the above as fitted to the UK diesels to pre-heat the coolant and turn the cabin blower on to defrost and pre-heat the passenger space, and engine. I think it's a Webasto, also fitted to coaches and boats but beyond that.......

Has anyone tried siping of their summer tires? (This is where very narrow cuts are made in a tire tread to aid in wet and snow traction. Big positive impact on stopping distances, too.Supposedly improves tire wear, too, due to facilitating tread cooling.)

Hi. am awaiting delivery of my new 118d. the dealer tells me its the first car to ship ipod-ready and he showed me the aux port under the front armrest. What exactly does this mean? if i plug in my ipod does that mean i can use the steering wheel controls to control the ipod?
