Hello Bmw chronies once again. I have come across a problem with knocking
and pinging, but am not too sure if it is the knock sensor or the timing
chain. There was no check engine light on, but the sensor has a crack in it.
It does not look like a very easy job, so I am asking if ...

My 318i has started to develop a rather nasty clanking sound, mostly when
cold, but sometimes when warmed up.  It comes and goes, but it's not

Just wondering if there is anyone on here who is/has
run a bmw with an m20 2.7i engine.
(Basically its an eta bottom end and an i top end, the same

My BMW UK extended warranty just expired and when I went to re-new it
