A common problem apparently. Anyone know of a guide to replacing it myself?

I have spent £1000 in the last 4 months doing 6K miles making a total
of 117K miles. The car has been regularly serviced and now silly
things are going wrong. Water pump now drive belt pulleys before. The
airbags are no longer working and I can live with that but it sounds

the other day I found a small pool of what looked like plain water on
the garage floor about center of the car's engine bay when parked.  It
was about the viscosity of thin oil and had no noticeable smell.  It
wasn't brake fluid or engine oil.  It only happened once.  Is there

Hi my 1996 528 has recently started to omit cold air from the vents when at
idle, but warms up when the revs increase to above 1000 revs, I've filled
the expansion chamber until water comes out of the 2 bleed srews but it is
still the same.

   I've recently installed rear brake discs (rotors), brake pads, and
handbrake shoes.  All went OK, I followed Haines manual and TIS fairly
closely.  The discs are genuine BMW, bought from the main dealer.
