I am a new owner of an older BMW out of warranty. I keep reading about the usefulness of the scanning tool which lists for about $150. I am not much of a technician and not likely to become one. Would this be a worthwhile

the cruise control on my 95 E36 Sedan has sh.t it self. it still activates, resumes , accelerates, decelerate but soon as its sets it kicks its self out. bit bugger as i use cruise all the time any thoughts on where to look

I came across this 325is on ebay last night. Very high buy-it-now price ($16k), and way out of my price range, but if you're after a museum piece or willing to drop the kind of money that would get you a well-sorted E30 M3, this might be the one for you.

I here that the semi auto boxes on M3 BMW's have been responciable for damaged engines, and Ive been advise to give SMG equiped cars a wide birth . (Im told its the launch control on the box that does the damage) Is this true about the boxes as the values of these cars are ...

I have discovered that all outgoing calls made on my T610 via Bluetooth in my BMW X5 have been billed to line 1, even though my phone was switched to line 2. This means that I am charged by Orange for the outgoing calls on line 1, instead of the calls coming out of my line 2 ...

Problems with headligths. Doesn't work properly. Stay on all the time, even with the car motor off. Any idea. Someone said some module is not working. But we don't know where the module is.

We have a 1991 515i just given to us, the head unit is a cd and radio only, but in the trunk there is a mounting plate, a din plug and some other 2 wire plug. So were trying to figure out what CD changer can go into the car, whether that be OEM or afermarket.

The car has 170K miles. Burned smell is coming from under the hood and into the car. Car runs fine. I was told years ago this is a common problem but I have forgotten the cause and the repair. Any suggestions and the costs. Thanks.
