Power windows stopped working on my E36, any ideas?19 Mar 2005 09:55 GMT4
My '93 E36 320i lost power to the electric windows (fronts only fitted in my
car) yesterday, and I'm after some advice of what to look for before I rip
the centre console out. Sunroof works fine, so I'm pretty sure it's not the
comfort relay, and the fuse is fine (swapped for the ...
Is there a hybrid in BMWs near future ?19 Mar 2005 08:08 GMT1

330 Ci gear whine19 Mar 2005 03:12 GMT5
I have a 2001 330Ci with 30,000 miles. I hear a slight rear end gear whine
under light load. It doesn't seem excessive yet; but, I thought it unusal
for the milage. Does anyone else have this and could it be considered
normal. The nearest dealer is like 100 miles away; and, I ...
Matt Hale is Richard Jewel19 Mar 2005 02:11 GMT1
Matt Hale is also Jose Padilla.
When will the "American" media apologize to Matt Hale (and Jose Padilla)?
Every branch of the major media has convicted Matt Hale of a crime which
he did not commit. The FBI informant at Hale's trial is a former mental patient
valve job or just head gasket?18 Mar 2005 16:51 GMT12
I finally found out why my 325i (1993) was pinging like it was running on
crappy gas (which it was not). The local BMW 'expert' mechanic told me he
found a very slight amount of coolant on two plugs. My other mechanic did
not make any mention of it at all, although after running ...

BMW Alarm vs. Viper Alarm?17 Mar 2005 12:28 GMT3
I bought a 2003 330CI (used obviously), the dealer said it had an
factory installed alarm.  It didn?t, so they are going to install an
alarm free of charge.  Asked me if I wanted the alarm from BMW which
my car is pre-wired for, or if i wanted them to install a Viper
My CarChex experience17 Mar 2005 01:20 GMT3
Last November I had CarChex do an inspection for on a 2003 BMW 330i at a
dealer 300 miles from my home. I "booked" the $80 inspection via their
web site and made a point of indicating in the order that I was
particularly interested in car's cosmetic condition as the dealer
2000 528i airbag warning light16 Mar 2005 19:03 GMT7
A friend broke the passenger window on her 528i with a hammer and after
husband replaced the window the airbag warning light is on.  How can it be
fixed/reset?
Many thanks in advance,
European delivery (Canadian sale)16 Mar 2005 18:36 GMT2
Hi, can anybody advise me on the pros and cons of European delivery? We are
visiting Franfurt from Canada for three weeks in July. I am interested in
the X3 (2006 model).
How to reset service reminder?16 Mar 2005 18:32 GMT12
I'm a first time BMW owner.  We just got a 97 528 with 110 k miles.  I got
it for $9,500 and it looks very sharp, runs and drives very well and we
quickly discovered the appeal of driving a BMW.  We knew when we bought it
that there were a few things needing fixed; 1 window ...
Most common tire size on 97 528i16 Mar 2005 18:18 GMT4
My 97 528 in riding on tires sized 225/55/R16 tires.  The inside of my
wheels are stamped 7Kx16.  The manual states that the tire specification for
this is exactly what is on the wheels; 225/55/R16.
When I research tires I find that there seem to many more 225/60/16 tires

2005 X516 Mar 2005 08:57 GMT5
Very interested in purchasing a SUV.
The X5 has my attention, however I intend to use it for business.
I put 30K miles a year on my vehicles.
I'm looking for fuel ecomony and leaning toward the 3.0L.
