S38 or S14 more expensive to maintain?12 Apr 2005 18:20 GMT1
For $15k to $20k (US) it's possible to buy a very nice E30 M3 or E34 M5.
Just curious how these compare with regards to cost to maintain.  I'm
thinking particularly about the engine, but am aware that there are other
parts that are specific to these cars as opposed to a regular E30 ...
E36 service12 Apr 2005 17:55 GMT5
My 328i 1995 model is due for a service.  What would need to be
checked/replaced apart from plugs, oil & filter?  All previous services has
been done by a BMW dealership.  It has now done 142,000 km and has been
serviced every 12 - 13,000 km.

Okay, now it's happened to me...11 Apr 2005 20:52 GMT4
Please, nobody bother bitching to me about how this problem
has been covered here before.  I know it has, as I remember
numerous threads on wacky Beamer climate control systems

"fuel door lock"11 Apr 2005 19:20 GMT9
Just took my 1993 325IS to the gas station and can't get the door to the
fuel tank opened.  I've been going through a Chiltons manual and can't
find anything.  Ibeliev it's connected to the car electronics but not
sure.  If so, is there any type of manual bypass?
