All, There is a procedure using a huge pliers for checking balljoints. This procedure checks the movement in the joint in the vertical direction, however the outer ball joint is supposed to control movement

Bought the car recently and everything is lovely. Yesterday my wife called and asked what I had done to the sunroof! Can anyone suggest a fix - was working fine and has just stopped - nothing when I press/push the switch.

I've finally figured out what the problem is with my newly bought '92 BMW 535. The air flow sensor is messed up. I removed it and measured the resistance while opening the vane and it wasn't linear at all. Closed it was 680 ohm, opened a little about 1100, almost fully open 110, ...

Does a 1990 325is auto have a LSD or open? non convertable. It is a 4.10 but not sure if LSD or not. Somebody once posted a list of all years of E30 and the gearing and if LSD or not.

What types of things will be necessary to fix or replace on an E36 when it hits 100,000 miles? How about spark plugs, shocks, rotors, pads, springs.......which parts have seen almost their entire life and should be swapped out?
