Blinds/shades/curtains on the back of an E3924 May 2005 10:34 GMT1
Has anyone ever tried to fit blinds/shades/curtains (sorry, I just don't
know the correct word for it...) to the rear doors and to the back of an
E39 sedan? Is there a website with info on this subject?
Thanks,

I have a 2004 E46 330 ci. When pulling away in first gear, the car
"Kangaroos" right through the rev range until second gear is selected.
This is an intermittent fault, worse in wet weather, which my local dealer
is having difficulty rectifying as there is no error showing on their
1992 525i Overheating23 May 2005 21:28 GMT5
I notice that my 1992 525i overheats when it sits idle for several minutes
or more. Today as I was waiting in line for coffee, it went quite high. As
I drove away, it barely touched the red area and the coolant temp warning
went off, as I drove, as it always does in the past, it ...
2001 525i BMW Brakes23 May 2005 19:06 GMT6
Can someone tell me what type and size of hex wrench I need or Torx wrench
socket size to release the brake calipers from the rotors so I can change my
pads?  I removed the small plastic caps and tried a 1/4" hex wrench but I
can't see inside to tell if it's Torx or Hex type.  ...

I am going to give my 2003 Mini Cooper to my mom soon and I'm planning
on replacing it with a 2006 BMW 330xi.  I know the car's not out yet,
but what do you think about it?  I've looked on BMW's website and I
really like this car.  I know a lot of people say that the styling is

Seat Back Twisted22 May 2005 18:02 GMT2
I'm looking to buy an E32 735i (1987 vintage) but it has a problem which
is making me hold off.
The seat back of the front passenger seat is "twisted". By that I mean
that with the seat squab square to the front the side of the seat back
My E36 continues to be pain in the a.s22 May 2005 11:24 GMT3
Okay, now it's the driver side window again.  A couple
of days ago, out of the blue, it suddenly decided to
misbehave.  I hit the button to lower it, and a nasty
noise (short metallic rap) came forth.  It appears that
E30 325 mixture22 May 2005 00:26 GMT5
My 1990 325 (non catalyst) has developed a strong smell of fuel most
noticable in stnding traffic. My guess is that the mixture is too rich.
There is some smoke from the exhaust during idle at normal temperature. I
have had the car for 15 years and never had this problem. Fuel ...

E46 sway bar 21 May 2005 02:20 GMT4
I have an '01 330ci with the sport package which (I'll assume) has the

more body-roll than my previous '96 328is. Is this normal or is there
something wrong? Is this condition curable with an upgraded ...
