I have a 316i (E36)97/P, and the air con keeps coming on and shutting off
on its own accord.  one dodgy bmw trained mechanic said, its a fault on
these models.  and the panel needs replacing, which will cost 180 quid exc
labour.  Anyone heard of this? Or know where i can get one ...

The shocks and sprints on my 1979 car have just been replaced. However on
some bumps, as found on farm tracks, the suspension (still) 'knocks' - and
that is when travelling quite slowly. Has anyone any suggestions please?

My '92 525i electric fan doesn't seem to work...even after driving on a hot
