Guys: I am in desperate need for a sunroof panel for the above BMW 528e, a 1988. Does any body out their have one, or know where one can be found. My car is BRONZIT color, and would like one in that color, but not that is not a must.

Car was stored over the past winter. Battery is dead therefore remote will not unlock the doors. Key locks have seized badly and will not move. Does anybody know any way to unlock or get into the car without damage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found in the newsgroups that I can remove the this radio by taking off the volume knob, inserting a screwdriver into the hole and twisting it to release. This I did and the radio came part way out ok. Then it seemed to get stuck

I am considering buying an E39, which has a strange quirk on the aircon control. On the passenger side, the unit has 2 'Red' increase symbols, but it works correctly (ie. one is increase, and one is decrease)

The code says crankshaft sensor. Car starts but stalls right away. I can keep it going by pumping the accelerater. Could it be the throtle sensor? Is this a major job to fix?

I am considering whether to buy an E39 540 or 530?? I have owned 740's before, and love the roar from the big V8, and the great performance. However, I may need to travel a little more, and therefore may need the economy of the 530.....

How easy to get at? Playing up cold start, worked around with 2 hits on the heaters but has always needed a lot of cranking cold. Garry

My windscreen wipers are stopping for no apparent reason - usually when I am in the outside lane overtaking in heavy rain. I pull over and they restart after I switch off and restart after a few seconds. Any obvious reason for this?

My recently acquired 730 doesn't want to share it's air with me :-( I can hear the blower motor going (and it's speed varies according to the fan control) but no matter what I do with the heater/ventillation/aircon controls I can't get any air to come out of
