BMW E30 Bilstein front shock installation30 Jul 2005 21:01 GMT3
I bought new HD Bilstein shock inserts for my `91 318is. I've replaced
the struts on my former `84 318i without any notable problems, but
these look like different beasts. With respect to instructions, a
picture speaks 1000 words, and these shocks came with neither the
Where to buy BMW 315 (e21) Bentley Repair Manual on CD30 Jul 2005 19:52 GMT2
I need Bentley Repair Manual on CD for BMW 315 (e21). They sell it on
bentleypublishers.com for $99.95. That seems little too much for me, so
does anyone knew where I can buy one cheaper (I did not find it on eBay)?
E38 Electric headrest problem30 Jul 2005 17:02 GMT2
The electric headrest in my 740 seems to have developed a problem.
It will move up electrically, but will not lower electrically. If I push it
down, it will move down to where it should be.
The motor seems to be spinning on both downward and upward directions, and

door chime (sorry 2nd post)29 Jul 2005 17:37 GMT2
I have an '87 325is and the door chime will not turn off, even with the
key out and the doors closed.  Is there an easy fix for this outside of
digging into the dash?  I checked into yanking the fuse which is
unfortunately connected to too many other components.

Everyone PLEASE respond to this posting. I own a 1989 525i e34 with just shy
of 300km (I'm in Canada). Yesterday about 20 seconds from pulling into my
driveway my car suffered a very minor loss in power and started to run
louder than normal from the front end, but it still drove ...

Are oxygen sensors covered under the 100K warranty?28 Jul 2005 16:40 GMT2
had the Service 2 completed recently on my '00 M5.
I have 54K on the odometer right now. (48,800) when service was done.
The car hesitates as if it isn't getting smooth flow of gas. until you
get to about 2400 rpm.
E39 winshield washer nozzles28 Jul 2005 14:47 GMT9
Mine are completely plugged, so I removed them to clean.  Bewfore I start,
though, there is an electrical connection.  I assume this is simply
something to keep them from freezing and there is nothing like an electrical
valve.  Is this true?
318ti acceleration question28 Jul 2005 12:55 GMT4
I've got a 98 318ti which runs fine apart from one thing. When I accelerate
with the pedal pushed to the floor or almost to the floor, it feels like
something is holding the car back a little. This seems to be borne out by
the fact that when this happens, if I lift off the ...
Musty Air Conditioner Odor27 Jul 2005 21:28 GMT1
You can eliminate that musty, stale air odor that comes from your air conditioning system with a product called AtmosKlear.
AtmosKlear is an odorless odor eliminator and works amazingly well.  You can find it in the Air Freshener Aisle at most Target stores, or order it on line at ...
