I bought new HD Bilstein shock inserts for my `91 318is. I've replaced the struts on my former `84 318i without any notable problems, but these look like different beasts. With respect to instructions, a picture speaks 1000 words, and these shocks came with neither the

The electric headrest in my 740 seems to have developed a problem. It will move up electrically, but will not lower electrically. If I push it down, it will move down to where it should be. The motor seems to be spinning on both downward and upward directions, and

| door chime (sorry 2nd post) | 29 Jul 2005 17:37 GMT | 2 |
I have an '87 325is and the door chime will not turn off, even with the key out and the doors closed. Is there an easy fix for this outside of digging into the dash? I checked into yanking the fuse which is unfortunately connected to too many other components.

| E39 winshield washer nozzles | 28 Jul 2005 14:47 GMT | 9 |
Mine are completely plugged, so I removed them to clean. Bewfore I start, though, there is an electrical connection. I assume this is simply something to keep them from freezing and there is nothing like an electrical valve. Is this true?
