My E34 is lying to me05 Jul 2005 14:07 GMT15
This happened to me yesterday driving from my house. The low fuel light
has been on for a couple of days, but the OBC tells me I can drive
another 39 km. I figured the car knows what it's talking about so I
don't worry about it. However, just a couple of minutes later the car
Differential Seal Installation05 Jul 2005 07:30 GMT1
I am replacing the axle seals in the differential of my '91 318is and have a
question regarding the installation.  My Bentley manual and a BMW service
manual on CD that I use both say that I should drive the seal in until it
bottoms out in the housing but if I do that the seal ...

Any recommendation on a dealer willing to offer up a great price on a
new X5 in San Diego. Know exactly the model I want and happen to know

match or hopefully beat Edmund's TMV. Thanks in Advance
Panasonic AVIC in E38 or E3904 Jul 2005 18:55 GMT1

Centre consoles on E38 & E3904 Jul 2005 08:12 GMT3
Can anyone point me to some pics of the E38 or E39, centre consoles, on cars
without the factory Nav unit.
I have never actually seen these cars (without nav), for myself, but am
considering buying one 200 miles away. I am trying to get a picture of what
Modded E38 & E39s04 Jul 2005 04:41 GMT2
I am interested in looking at some 'modded' E38 & E39's.
I'm particularly interested in gadgets, and replacements for the ICE or Nav
units, for cars which don't have it fitted from the factory.
Any references or web links appreciated
740 vs 54004 Jul 2005 00:32 GMT1
I've owned 2 740's previously.
I'm looking to buy either another 740 or a 540.
I quite like the idea of the 540, as its a bit quicker, and more economical
(so I'm told).
1990 325i03 Jul 2005 23:33 GMT6
I recently acquired a 1990 325i with 191000 miles on it. It is in very good
shape and has been cared for very well. It seems to run very good and looks
very good. I have two questions
1. How do you change the air filter?
E38 windscreen washer inop03 Jul 2005 17:21 GMT2
My 1996 750iL headlight squirters work, but not the main one for the
windshield.  Fuse OK and there is voltage at the fuse.
Any suggestions where to start?  Thanks to all.

parts? is it an either or situation? I can not find the location of the
blower motor resistor. When I look where the manual and everone else says it
is supposed to be, I find the final stage unit.
BMW Warrenty and Arbitration  03 Jul 2005 05:38 GMT3
Gents
Most manufacture in the US have some form of Arbitration according to
Better Business Bureau. BMW does not subscribe to BBB arbitration process in
most states. so if you disagree with a non warranty claim your only recourse
