ICV Location - 92 E3624 Jul 2005 10:50 GMT1
Been trying to locate the ICV on my 92 320i (European Spec).  Been through
the ETK and looked everywhere under the intake manifold - no success.
I know one hose apparently comes from under the manifold - where does the
other connect.  Where does the electrical connect to - perhaps I ...

Well my M3 is going to be here next week so I need to sort out my insurance,
the cheapest quote I've had so far is The AA @ £1,300.
Are there any other companies worth trying?
Thanks

Hi all--
I will probably buy a BMW 3 series later this year. I have been doing my
homework on the Internet and visited a dealer a couple of times.
Exchanged some e-mails with the dealer in the next town over.

Car over-revving in the mornings - help!22 Jul 2005 18:49 GMT8
I have a BMW 523 automatic, which I bought from new in 2000. It has a
low mileage (42,000) and a full BMW service history.
Following the 40,000 mile oil service, the car has been running like a
dog in the mornings.

Great BMW joke !22 Jul 2005 13:42 GMT4
On a golf tour in Ireland, Tiger Woods drives his BMW into a
petrol station in a remote part of the Irish countryside. The pump
attendant, obviously knows nothing about golf, greets him in a
typical Irish manner completely unaware of who the golfing pro
Regarding the show "Top Gear" ...22 Jul 2005 10:47 GMT18
I heard a few weeks ago that they did an episode that featured the new M5.
Did anyone see it? Does anyone know which episode it was -- what day and
month? Or am I mistaken and they didn't feature it?

328 'grabs' when stopping at slow speed.21 Jul 2005 22:05 GMT14
I have an N-reg BMW 328 SE Auto. My local garage recently replaced a
broken air hose somewhere which had suddenly started causing stalling
(wouldn't idle). And I took the opportunity to have a routine service
done, as the 'Inspection' indicators indicated it was due.
BMW Specialist Workshops21 Jul 2005 20:08 GMT6
I'm taking delivery of a 2001 330ci in a couple of weeks, and have to start
thinking about where I'm going to get the thing serviced. I really don't
fancy lining the pockets of over-priced joker main dealers, so can anyone
suggest a good place to go in the south of England (I'm ...
That square thing in bumper21 Jul 2005 19:24 GMT15
What is the purpose of that small (2-inch square) indent in the rear
bumpers of BMWs?  It's the border that is indented (the interior of the
square being flush with the bumper surface)and it looks like it could
be punched out.
Whirring noise 320i21 Jul 2005 18:03 GMT6
I have a 320i 1991 model and there is this whirring noise that sounds like
a slipping drive belt. It only happens when I go above 50 mph. Is it the
drive belt or any other? Please help. Thanks.
Blackberry + Bluetooth + 2003 530i?21 Jul 2005 17:24 GMT3
Tried googling this group first, did not find anything definitive.
I have an '03 530i, and a RIM Blackberry 7520 with Nextel service.
I am considering buying the bluetooth package, which apparently costs
around $500.
'Tracker'  - (UK- quite long)20 Jul 2005 20:03 GMT6
I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about this, or perhaps I'm
barking up the wrong tree?
A couple of weeks ago I was car-jacked and my beloved M3 is now gone.
A couple of 'coincidences' occurred before this happened, and I was curious
