Is there an easy way to disable the central locking on an E30 (90
325is)? Mine is constantly acting up, now working, now not. I don't

What was the last year of "regular" ignition keys on the 3 series?08 Jul 2005 16:06 GMT6
What was the last year of "regular" ignition keys on the 3 series?
Regular as in no chip, no memory, no other stupid anti-theft idiocy?
Now that I think of it, even those keys are a screwy non-duplicatable
shape, but at least just plain metal.  I wonder when that started..

Need ideas....to start the car sometimes I would have to turn the key
several times before it would do anything.  Now of course it will not do
anything.  Have tested the starter, it's fine, replaced the lock
cylinder...still nothing.

Hi All. What is the widest 17" tire I can use on the front and rear on a
2001 330ci? The car will be used for normal, everyday driving. Not racing or
on the track. I'd like to do a 225/235 in the front and 245/255 (maybe more
if it will fit) on the rear. TIA!

E36 brake disks advice07 Jul 2005 21:12 GMT7
Just a quick couple of questions for you knowledgeable lot that I would
apprecate answers to...
I have been told by the mechanics that my front disks are showing early
signs of slight warping and that would probably need to be replaced soon.

By the way, and not knowing your particular perspective on whether it's good

Last night I had my E46 2004 M3 convertible car-jacked. Fortunately I wasn't
hurt, but they were an extremely professional crew.  The 'tracker' system
