First post to this NG. My '99 328i with 42K miles has finally had its first hick-up. Last week upon a 30 mile trip in moderate heat I had my AC On. AC in this car was perfect. Upon exiting the freeway and stopping at the first light, my engine shut off and CEL came on. When I ...

I thought I had a wheel bearing going as my car is noisy when it moves off from cold. It sounded so like a wheel bearing that I asked my mech to do it. He pointed out the noise stops once the car has done a few miles and checked with a BMW mech who said it was the differential and

The interior panels (Doors, wall panels by the back seat, headliner, and rear deck) in my E36 1993 325IS are driving me nut! They look like crap. The material (Vinyl?) on the doors looks to be in decent shape, however it is coming off of the backing board AGAIN! (I use "board" ...
