E39 Cell Question20 Oct 2005 01:12 GMT2
I noticed that I have the option to install a bmw phone into the car. I have
a GSM phone and don't want to use their TDMA/CDMA phone. Is it possible to
retrofit the car with GSM and download some sort of interface program on my
smartphone (MPX 200) to have my address book and ...
How to avoid a common fraud19 Oct 2005 20:16 GMT4
Still looking for an E46. Odometer reprogramming is a concern to me, as
it has become people's favourite sport here in Greece. Is there a way to
check odometer calibration on this car? Other than checking the service
books and so on.
Alloy repair kits19 Oct 2005 19:49 GMT3
Has anybody any experience of alloy repair kits? I've got some scuffed
Alpina wheels that have the potential to look nice but £30 for an alloy
repair kit sounds too good to be true so I am guessing that they're a bit
crap but can anyone enlighten me please? Thanks.
2002 325i pulls unevenly19 Oct 2005 16:07 GMT7
I'm experiencing a strange problem for (I guess) 5,000 km now. Car is
2002 BMW 325i, 66,000 km on the counter. What's tricky is the
transmission - it's SMG. For those who do not know, it's a manual
gearbox + clutch, both connected to a hydraulic system that controlls
325 vs. 328, is there a difference in reliability?19 Oct 2005 13:40 GMT26
I've been pricing some used BMWs and have zero'd in on the 3 series, and
would rather have a 6-cyl over the 4. My question to the owners of the 325's
and 328's is this- is the 328 any more reliable than the '25? Are there
advantages or disadvantages to either one? Both seem like ...
325xi early lease termination19 Oct 2005 00:01 GMT5
Trying to kill some time, I just wandered to my BMW dealership to ask
some questions.  My lease on a 2003 325xi is up on March 27, 2006.   I
was curious to see how long a 2006 330i would take to get delivered
from Germany.  My dealer said that the dealership is looking for

E90 4 Series?18 Oct 2005 13:11 GMT30
Earlier on I had heard that the E90 coupe would be designated as the 4
Series; I understood that BMW was moving to a policy of all four door cars
being odd numbered while two door cars would be even numbered.
Lately I've heard no mention of a 4 Series, and everyone seems to be
325i vs 325xi17 Oct 2005 10:00 GMT14
So I live in New england. Winter is just around the bend and I'm
thinking about buying my first BMW. For years, I've had front-wheel
drive cars and 4-wheel drive pickups/SUV's.  I just love the new
3-series cars and MUST have one.
Oil service 2002 e4617 Oct 2005 03:02 GMT11
It's the first time changing the oil on my 2002 e46,
besides the large "O" ring on the housing base,
and the washer for the drain plug, my Bentley say
there are two small "O" rings on the filter housing
3series E36 (98-00) vs E? (00+) picky type comparisons16 Oct 2005 16:23 GMT17
1st, stupid Q: what's the # of the body of the current 3's?  E46?
Next, basically I'm considering either a 98-00 E36 2dr, or a 00+ 2 or 4,
sport pkg. on whichever.  BTW, is there an abbr. for sport pkg.?
There are several deciding factors, and they have to break past the fact

evening folks,
I've got an E46 touring and the rear washer pump will not operate, I've
checked the fuses and they are all OK, I've replaced the pump itself and it
still doesn't work.  Anybody got any other ideas as I'm a bit reluctant to
