Just today my car (2001 330 ci sport) started wobbling in the front end
while braking from 40 mph+. The tires and wheels are fine. Any probable
cause? A place for me to start? TIA

My water ran out today during a long, foggy, dirty drive and now that
I have re-filled the tank they are still not working. The squirters on
the headlamps are working.
Any ideas what's causing this / how to fix it...?

Is there any chance my new (to me) 2001 6-Speed M3 has the dreaded Clutch
Delay Valve (CDV)? I ask because the M3's shifting qualities behave somewhat
like my 5 speed '96 328is did  BEFORE I had the CDV removed. I was saying to
myself "why can't I shift this thing?" Shifting ...

I have a 1995 318i automatic, 124,000 kms, that needs an original stock
muffler replacement ( it's loud )....thing is, it'll be $400 CDN to replace,
and I have to wait a month so I can afford to have it done.
My question: Will driving the car for another month with the old muffler ...

I had my first go at replacing the thrust and control arms on my '94
540iA this evening.  The balljoints on the control arms are gonzo and

problem with my rear suspension:
When driving over any bumps, the car rattles. I can describe the noise

  As the subject says, I'm trying to find the procedure for removing the
drivers side front door panel. I need to change the door lock actuator. I
have spent some time looking for covered up screws etc, and cannot seem to
find any.
