I have a 99' 528i E39. When i start it up it has a rough idle to it. It will run fine then 'bog' down the rpm's abit then till go back to fine the longer it goes the harder the 'bog' downs are. After about 10 mins~ the car will shut itsself off on the last bog down. I can then just ...

My 535i is low on oil and I am in the UK on a Sunday with only local filling stations open. I am running Mobil 1 which I doubt I can buy locally in the UK so can anybody suggest what I might buy from a supermarket filling station to top up please?

I've got a 2001 (3246cc, 325bhp) M roadster. When changing gear or approaching a junction when the clutch is depressed the engine rpm sometimes drops below 500 then returns back up to the normal idle speed. Also when accelerating it can very occasionaly have a flat spot

OK, I know that's an oxymoron, but we're in Crawley, West Sussex and are finding it very pricey to get our local dealer to maintain or S-reg 5-series. I mean, £86 to replace a lightbulb? It sounds like one of those "How many .... " jokes, doesn't it?

With my lease ending in late March, I decided no more automatic trans for me. I've been learning how to drive stick and I'm getting pretty good at it. Hills are still a bit tricky for me, but i'm getting the hang of it.
