I adjusted my valves yesterday. They were making a lot of clicking noises. This was my 1st time doing it. It seems a "little" movement yeilded a lot of change. I did use feeler gauges to measure. While the engine runs much quieter, I notice that it's harder to start now -- it

ok, I know where the microfilter is under the hood on the E46. But doing some reading, I am wandering if there is another microfilter maybe in the place it was on the E36. Is there 2 microfilters for the E46 A/C or just one?

| Just picked up my new 550 | 24 Dec 2005 08:37 GMT | 11 |
Drives fantastic. I resisted getting a bmw for 20 years, but I must admit it drives great. However, the 'iDRIVE" is anything but intuitive. not nearly as easy to use as my wife's lexus radio and navigation system.

I'm looking at getting an E36 Touring for the SO, and although the extra economy is a really nice thing to have, is the M41 engine to underpowered for this body? Is it really only 90BHP for an intercooled turbo diesel? I've only ever driven E36s with M50/52 engines and these are ...
