| OBC Replacement on E39. Doesn't anyone here know anything about this? | 13 Dec 2005 16:19 GMT | 3 |
I posted about replacing the screen on the OBC (2002 535iT, no Nav, DSC) and got no response. Since folks on this group seem to be eager to share information, I assume no one knows anything about it. I've determined that I need to replace the OBC as a unit. No possible

| 1999 Z3 2.5 Sluggish Return to Idle | 13 Dec 2005 04:10 GMT | 2 |
I just purchased this car: it has 76k miles. The throttle 'hangs-up' momentarily. It makes it very difficult to change gears, as I must delay the shift to allow the RPMs to drop. (If it was carburated, I'd say the throttle return spring was weak.) A receipt came with the car

| speakers for 93 325i | 13 Dec 2005 03:13 GMT | 3 |
wondering if anyone here is familiar with the speaker arrangement in this car. I don't have it here (it's my sons) and I'm trying to purchase replacement speakers for the OEM units for Christmas. Crutchfield says 5-1/4" speakers in the 'kickpanel' and 4" on the rear

I have a 2002 525iT, no Nav, DSC. Carrying some long lumber that extended between the front seats and had to make an emergency stop. One of the boards came forward and slammed into the OBC (radio) screen wiping it out. It's nothing but an

| E39 electronic erratic problem | 12 Dec 2005 06:50 GMT | 1 |
I have a 98 540 (E39) and started to have strange behavior from the on board electronics when I start the vehicle. 3 times out of 4 it starts fine, but when it doesn't, it seems the initiation of electronic routine would not work. The steering wheel does not go down, the radio ...

| 2000 BMW Z3 Power Convertible Top Stopped Working! | 12 Dec 2005 02:41 GMT | 5 |
The other day I attempted to put the top down on my BMW Z3 2.3 and absolutely nothing happened. The motor didn't run, couldn't hear it at all and of course top didn't move. I assumed the motor has burned out. I had noticed the past few months, the motor seemed to struggle a

| Deposit $1, gamble with $51 | 12 Dec 2005 00:16 GMT | 2 |
Unlike other promo offers, there is no minimum deposit to be granted the $50 bonus. The $50 however cannot be paid out until you have invested a total of $50. Still you have nothing more to loose than $1, but $$$ to win.

| 2008 7 series | 11 Dec 2005 21:35 GMT | 5 |
Looks pretty good. They finally get rid of the "big butt" syndrome. I wonder if they will do that for the 5 and 6 series redesigns as well.

| 325i: Where is the water coming from? | 11 Dec 2005 09:30 GMT | 7 |
The other day I noticed that the back seat carpet and floor mats on both sides of my wife's 2001 325i were soaked with water. I vacuumed up the water and there was quite a bit, maybe 2-3 quarts. There appears to be a "subfloor" which held most of the water.
