I want to know, what other models of phone are compatable with a 2001
740IL.  It comes with a Motorola StarTac phone, but that phone is not
supported by service providers.  Hence I want to know model of a phone
which is available currently in the market and is compatiable with the

First post.  Just bought a '99 323i and too my dissappoinment I found out it
really does not have leather seats.
(could have fooled me, wait, actually it did fool me)
I really like everthing else about the car.  Great value for the price.

  Can anyone help me in the wilds of northern Scotland. I am having
problems with this not starting or cutting out. It may be an immobiliser
problem as there is plenty life in the battery etc and before cutting out
i notice the radio/cd cuts off first. It was happening a few weeks ...

My 1998 535i has started showing the ABS and ASC lights. I was hoping
it would go away but no such luck. Sometimes the lights do not come on
immediately but when they do they come on together. Has anyone any
ideas how to fix this?

AWD or X5? For the similar options, X5 is around $5k cheaper.

It sounds like a high frequence virbration (similar to revs),
the pitch increases with the speed of the car.
Noticable (above other noise) at about 35mph, then gets louder and higher
as speed increases.

before putting power back on.

What metal do they make the OEM keys from (standard yellow/gold hue)?
And, are they are coated after machining - does this account for the

I have a Delphi Roady XT xm satellite radio receiver and am driving a
325xi sedan with the 'business cd' stereo system.  I don't have a cd
changer.
Currently I listen by setting the receiver to the same fm station as
