Ford Injector upgrade for M30 engine.31 Jan 2006 00:35 GMT8
We suspect some dirty / bad injectors as an issue for my M30 engine.
I have read about a Ford mustang injector "ugprade" that helps smooth out some
idle issues.
I picked up a set for relatively low $'s -- they're marked FOTE-D5A on a guess
E36 tyre pressure - Upgrade30 Jan 2006 23:00 GMT21
I've recently changed from 15" wheels to 17" wheels on my 318ti compact. Can
anyone help me with a method to calculate the correct tyre pressure to run
my new wheels at?
The new tyres are 225 45 R17 W.
E39 bore wear problem.30 Jan 2006 22:34 GMT8
I was looking through What Car  price guide today and I noticed it
warned of serious bore wear problems in late 1990 cars. Surely this
problem was with early 1990 cars. Is this a mistake?

1999 Z3 2.330 Jan 2006 20:16 GMT1
I've installed a new BMW cruise control kit. It is 'plug and play',
with the exception that the computer must now be coded to recognise the
cruise. Is there any other way to recode the car without having to use
the DIS tester? (and paying the dealer @$97.50/Hr.!!!). Thanks for any

what % will dealers drop (Used BMW)30 Jan 2006 11:18 GMT1
We are looking at a bmw 530d with 125k miles on the clock, the car is up for
£6995. I have never purchased from a dealer before and would like to know
what margins they will generally work to! Such as is there a rough
percentage that they would mark up against what they would ...
Wanted 540 tourer (Suffolk UK)29 Jan 2006 20:40 GMT2
I am looking form a low mileage 540 tourer auto that maybe on its way
to auction. I will pay auction price and save you the trouble of
taking it to auction. It will also save me going to auction and
waiting around for the car I want. I may consider a 530 tourer auto.
E36: How to reattach leather covered insert on inner door panel?29 Jan 2006 01:28 GMT5
My 1994 325is has leather that covers the handle and center part of the
inner door panel.  On both doors, the leather has contracted and pulled
away from the door (probably due to the extreme summer heat here in TX).
Is there any way to fix this?
Pinout for 20-pin to OBD2 lead?29 Jan 2006 01:16 GMT13
Anyone have a diagram showing which pins of the 20-pin diagnostic connector
connect to the 16-pin OBD2 type?  I already have an OBD2 to PC interface &
cable.
Vehicle is an E36 1999 323i.

Cloth upholstery for E-3629 Jan 2006 00:26 GMT10
My leather upholstery on my 94 325i is in pretty bad shape, and I want
to replace it with cloth so my cat won't punch holes in the leather
with her ferocious claws. I've found a few places selling replacement
leather kits, but can't find cloth. I thought the 318i came with cloth,

Strange question -- window cleaning28 Jan 2006 12:16 GMT13
I just got a great '03 E39 to replace my totalled '97 E39.  The dealership I
got it from was out of state so they put a temporary license plate (paper)
in the rear window.  It came with strips of sticky tape at top and bottom.
Just got my real tags and tried to take off the temp ...
