Has anyone experienced a complete loss of power when driving a mini?
I bought a Mini Cooper S and within 6 months it suddenly lost power whilst
I was on the fast lane of a busy dual carriageway. Luckily I managed to get
off the road without causing an accident. The car was repaired, ...

I have a problem with my car that no one can seem to fix.  The car dies
unless you hold the gas pedal down at a steady RPM. Also the exhaust gets
so hot it glows red and shoots out flames. There is still a hint of gas in
the exhaust fumes.

Anyone had any experience with repair manual CD sets (TIS, ETK, KDS, ETM)
that are on offer at eBay? Are they any good? I have E21, and I was
wondering if these CD-s are usable for me, as Mobile traditions CD for E21
at dealer is $100, and I could get this CD set at eBay for $20-30.

my e34 520ise touring has a slight tapping noise for about 2 seconds
when started from cold. milage is 144k with full bmw service history.
is nthis normal for its age?

I bought a used 1996 328i. Every time I start the car the climate control
comes on. I find this very annoying, is there a way I can turn off climate
control so it doesn't automatically come on every time I start the engine?

After driving Subarus, Toyotas, Hondas and yes - a Chevy, all my life,
I'm finally at the point that I can afford (and want) to step up to a
new "luxury" car.  However, I still want to find the best overall deal
(ie - bang for the buck).  That's just my nature, I guess.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an owners manual for an e36, or
maybe a copy I can download? I bought an E36 1999 323iSE Sport Touring today
but it doesn't have an owners manual and I'd like to know a bit more about
the climate control, ASC and a few other bits.

What do you think about converting a BMW M3 3.2 to LPG?
In terms of reliability of the engine, LPG as no problems?

My 320i, 1987 model has recently started to show very varying fuel readings
when it nears the empty mark.  It is almost as if the gauge swings left and
right as the fuel splashes from one side of the tank to the other.  Is there
an easy solution to this problem?

The battery in my '94 540i is getting tired.  I searched around looking
for a Douglas battery (OE manufacturer for US) to replace it with and
found that they have recently divested themselves of their automotive
division.

i live in the west london area and i've got a bmw e36 2litre
convertable,where could i get the rear plastic screen,bonnet,nearside front
wing, plus the anti roll bar popped up at the back,how do i go resetting
it.....thanx

I just got a new 550 (about 300 miles) and sometimes the idrive screen comes
right up, and sometimes it sits on the "BMW" screen for 5-10 seconds.   And
at least once it stayed on the "BMW" screen for the entire time I drove it
(about 15 minutes).  Any ideas?  Problems with the ...
