| 325iX AWD question | 04 Jan 2006 22:36 GMT | 36 |
Looking at an '89 325iX and the owner says the AWD works sometimes and doesn't at others. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet, but wondered if any one might have a reasonable guess as to the cause. I don't know much about the AWD systems. thanks in advance

I don't like the gas cap hanging down and putting scratches/scuffs in my paint. I thought about removing the leesh, but I don't want to lose my gas cap. So, I came up with this idea, received patent/trademark pending

| Is my N-Reg a dinosaur? | 03 Jan 2006 19:58 GMT | 17 |
On a family trip from East Grinstead to Norfolk on Wednesday, on a snowy/icy stretch of the A140, I had a scary moment when I thought I'd seen my last Christmas! Although I was doing only about 35 mph in a well-spread convoy, I suddenly lost control of my BMW 328SE Auto.

Ok...you know that plastic stip that covers the slot on the center console that moves when you select a gear? Well mine has been missing for some time now and I finally decided to replace it. I was wondering, will this be a tedious affair? It's an older 525, 92 to

A thread on Pelican forum indicated that the Water Pump replacement with the Black COMPOSITE material impeller is the preferred choice now - over the metal impeller version. Would you agree? Why/why not?

| UK Extended warranty | 02 Jan 2006 23:56 GMT | 7 |
Anyone else heard the rumours... Extended warranty to drop in price (slightly) but an excess of £100 per claim or £250 for "M" cars. Plus batteries and exhausts no longer covered, no MOT insurance either and no accident management!
