Noticed yesterday driving home from work that I had an annoying

I am thinking of buying one of theese 1993-1995 model, it seems
possible to find them with around 200.000 kms driven, automatic
transmission, leather, a/c, etc, for about eur 3.500 which seems
somewhat reasonable.

Has anyone here experienced or heard of an X3 that had an accident or an

Specifically, where the pedal was released but the car maintained it's

How to upgrade sound on E4617 Jan 2006 23:26 GMT2
I'm new to this forum because it's the first time we own a BMW. We got a
323i E46 year '00, very low miles, great condition, and it looks like a '02
because the complete front and rear bumper cover are from an '02 330i. Sweet
car.

Having just recently replaced my ageing E34 with a '99 E36 323i Touring, I
was amazed to find it wasn't fitted with any alarm or immobiliser as
standard.
Any advice as to a decent quality unit/system for DIY fitting? I want to do
M3 2004, fitting an induction kit?17 Jan 2006 21:18 GMT4
I enquired at my local performance garage about changes I could make to my
2004 M3, I knew I'd read that a simple replacement air filter could make a
difference in performance.
The guy has told me a Typhoon induction kit is available for my car priced

Noise Rattle on Passenger Side of 2005 325i Sedan16 Jan 2006 16:45 GMT4
My car is one year old (and is a dream to drive), yet it's developed an
annoying noise or rattle.  Whenever I go over bumps, I hear something loose
on the passenger side door (or maybe columns separating the doors).  Any
suggestions of how to find and fix this?
Continental Run-flats16 Jan 2006 15:51 GMT3
After 28,000 miles, I am about to replace the OEM Bridgestone RE 050A

Conti SportContact 2 SSR run-flat tires?  They are listed by Tire Rack as
30% cheaper with a tread wear rating of 280 vs. 140 for the ...
E39 back axle whine.16 Jan 2006 14:05 GMT8
The noise from my back axle is now noticeable enough to warrant
repair. I have been told to ignore it previously as the 535i models
were prone to back axle whine from the differential. I am not sure
that is the case and I am hoping it is a wheel bearing. Has anyone
