I am thinking of getting a new BMW 325 SE (2006 Reg), which looks OK, with good reviews and safety features, But it costs £29K with decent leathers and paint job. But I have an 18 year old, E30 320i BMW, which is still fun to drive.

| Engine Computer Replacement/Cost | 10 Jan 2006 22:10 GMT | 2 |
1990 525i, independent says I need a new engine computer. The "brain" seems to be telling the injectors to dump extra fuel into 3 of the cyliners and gets the car to stall out. Does anyone know how much one would be and what it would cost to do the job. He is saying that the

| 1992 525iT manual transmission problem | 10 Jan 2006 12:50 GMT | 2 |
I have a '92 touring manual, M50 engine, 180k miles. All the gears work fine, but when changing, if I'm not very careful with matching revs, there is a soft-but-weighty thunk, feels like it's underneath me, maybe a bit behind me. Could this be a worn sycnromesh, or something to do
