| Alpina Alloys | 27 Feb 2006 09:54 GMT | 6 |
I was looking at Alpina or replica alloys on ebay and noticed a pair advertised as genuine with the Alpina part number, but with the valve visible on the rim, not under the cap. I thought the valve had been hidden on all alpina alloys since the mid 80's, anyone know if some have ...

Fir the last 17 months I have been driving a 1998 535 and I have had terrific enjoyment out of it. Foolishly I mentioned that I would like to have it changed for a Tourer model hoping to get a 540. No such luck though. On Wednesday I pick up a 4 year old 530 sport touring

It seems like every year someone posts a message asking about how to make their 2WD car make it through the snows of winter, how much snow tires help, and the discussion veers to the supposed benefits of AWD vs. 2WD (front or rear) in such conditions. (Somebody trying to justify ...

| 840.. how expensive are these to keep running | 26 Feb 2006 15:33 GMT | 2 |
I seem to be getting attracted to the 840, well more to the 850 but I'm sure the 850 is a *real* money pit. How much care and maintenance would an 840 need? If I bought a 'decent' one with, say, about 100k or so on the clock is it something that could

| Car Wax recommendations | 25 Feb 2006 16:01 GMT | 37 |
Ok guys and girls, what is the best in your minds wrt to Wax. I have a Midnight Black 328 e36 convertible. I used NuTone on it and was not unimpressed with the result, but I noted a very subtle kind of "spotting" on the large surfaces. The finish also feels a little soft. In
