What is the proper way to test Fuel Pressure Regulator/fuel pump28 Mar 2006 04:54 GMT1
I posted a while back about my hesitation problem (see below)  One of

fuel pressure still unknown, my guage only goes up to 15 psi so I will

Thanks!

would that be?
Thank you,

Comfort access and iDRIVE help26 Mar 2006 18:13 GMT2
OK, I did as someone in this group suggested and had the software upgraded
in my 550i 2006.  They did find several "software faults" and upgraded it.
But I still have both problems:
1) Comfort Access:  works sometimes, sometimes doesn't (have to hold the key
BMW 3 series fuel requirements? regular or ..?26 Mar 2006 17:57 GMT9
I'm considering buying a '96-up 3 series in North America (in Canada

Do any of the 3 series run on regular fuel? (without the knock sensor going
nuts!??!).
Location of wiring for speed sensor on 525 Touring26 Mar 2006 17:45 GMT2
I want to fit a Sony sat. nav to my 1994 525 Touring which is

Does anyone know where this wire is likely to be located within the
E39 540i wheel berring replacement26 Mar 2006 16:47 GMT1
I've done the pads, struts, tie rod ends, and links now that my 540i has
125,000 miles. I get intermittent "chatter" on the front brakes at first
application. It could be the rotors, last done 50,000 miles ago, but I'm
worried about the front wheel berrings. There is no noise from ...

Well, a few months ago I adopted a '91 325iX.  Call me stupid ("You're
stupid!").  It's basically solid and I'm going to refurbish it just
for the hell of it.
I have the Bentley e30 manual, but it doesn't cover the specific iX
