320i stiff accelerator pedal12 Mar 2006 18:00 GMT2
I have recently purchased a 1988 BMW 320i tourer. The first thing I
have noticed is that the accelerator pedal is quite stiff to press down
compared to a lot of other cars I have driven. Are all Beamers like
this or is it something I need to fix? The pedal itself works ok but it
94 540i BMW transmission issue12 Mar 2006 17:55 GMT4
I have a 1994 540i BMW which has been slowly developing a transmission
problem.
4 months ago, when I didn't have problems, I got my oil changed at the
authorized BMW dealership, I told them to check the transmission oil
BMW 318i (Manual) Suggested Mods12 Mar 2006 17:45 GMT5
Hey, I just purchased a BMW 318ci with about 60,000 miles on it and its
all stock (except for the amazing sound system). I've found the Bosal
exhuast system and I'm thinking of buying it at only $175.00 for a
decent exhaust. I am also thinking about some sort of intake, but I'm

Wheel refinishing recommendations needed12 Mar 2006 17:37 GMT14
I've had my 2005 M3 about a year.  Yesterday I used a little too much
right foot and too little restraint (of course the traction control
was off) and the next thing I knew I was sideways at 60 mph with the
rear wheels on a gravel shoulder.

I did find some information about the location of the fuel pump relay
on an 86 325e, however... I find 8 relays on my car..numbered k1-k8.
Could someone help me identify which one it is?
The problem that I am working on is when driving in the rain, the car

find a drivers seat thats in great condidtion (like the rest of my

BMW 520i Ignition problem10 Mar 2006 21:47 GMT4
Aplologies if this is the wrong group.
My 1991 BMW 520i was running perfectly. A friend then revved it rather
high and turned it off.
Since then, all the lights come on, but the starter motor does not
how to care for dash in 1997 528i?10 Mar 2006 05:52 GMT9
the dash is very textured and matte.  I don't want to "muck it up" with
products that will not easily clean out of the texture or ruin it with a
high gloss.
any ideas?
little red light just left of radio WHAT IS IT?09 Mar 2006 21:46 GMT1

Location of the fuel pump relay on an 86 bmw 325E09 Mar 2006 20:21 GMT3
After looking around i realised that changing the fuel pump relay on my
bmw might fix the stalling problem i face. It feel like there is a air
hole somewhere is a pipe and sometimes it just stalls. So anyway, i
can't seem to get my hand on my manual, and i basically know where the

Well, the time is almost here for my first "new" (meaning new to me) car
purchase in a decade.  My 94 toyota truck still runs well but - well
generally it isn't any fun to drive, or look at, or sit in and I'm tired of
it.
