Looking to see if anyone has had this issue.
During cold starts, transmission does not engage immediately. I need to
get the engine up to 6500 RPMs and the transmission will "pop" into
action. Sometimes with break neck action.

I probably have a very simple problem to have fixed.. but here goes...
I have a 1987 BMW 325... I was driving on the highway (in vegas... stop
and go... UGH)  and noticed that when the RPM gauge is between about 1

I have a LR tail light that occassionally dims and then gets bright
again.  I have replaced the tail light bulbs (2) with no help as
advised by the "stealership".  The dimming also causes the warning
light indicator to come on sometimes and then it goes out.

I have a new Z4 3.0si on order, buying it through military car sales,

The crisis continues.
At first we could not turn the cruise on via the steering wheel - only
on the dash.
Then the airbag light came on.
