02 325xi13 May 2006 21:34 GMT2
The windows in my 325xi are all failing, the drivers window will not go up
without manual assistance, and the rear passenger door window I had to
repair already. The other two windows are very "slow" and getting worse.
The back window needed a new "controller" and was $300 to ...
Just how quick is this guy?13 May 2006 20:13 GMT5

*What* a piece of driving. Considering he's 'only' got about 300bhp, that
320STW with a top driver certainly shows a clean pair of heels to just about
all the rest.
Airbag Warning13 May 2006 19:29 GMT8
We have a 1998 Z3 2.8 litre.  The dash warning light for the airbags
came on Saturday, and is staying on solid. No flashing, no flickers.
The manual say that our mechaninc needs to look at the airbag system,
and I definitely do not want to mess with that, but is there something ...
Fuel gauge not working13 May 2006 19:23 GMT17
After starting my '96 328i after filling up today my fuel gauge didn't
move and in fact read empty.  The on board computer also indicated that I
only had 58 miles worth of gas in the tank.  Any ideas on where to start the
diagnosis would be greatly appreciated.  TIA!
Run-Flats13 May 2006 15:03 GMT3
Anybody else own  a 2006-330i experiencing severe noise from Bridgestone
tuorenza run flats ?
I have 9000 miles on them and they are shot. They make twice the noise then
my tires on my SUV do.
Differntial compatibility12 May 2006 15:33 GMT4
I have a E3O 325i touring 1990. I have purchased a differential from a
breakers yard to swap over. The differential looks slightly smaller to
one fitted on my car. I think I have been sold one from a 320i model.
I know the gear ratios will be different, but will I still be able to
1995 E34 Touring ride height low ?12 May 2006 11:12 GMT3
I had the rear springs changed for new - dampers were OK - and whilst the
new springs were 2"
longer laying on the ground, the ride height is no better - the mudguard
bottom edge is about halfway down the rubber of the tyre when unladen and it

E34 Touring rear window question11 May 2006 23:58 GMT1
One nice feature of the 1992 525i Touring is that the rear window can
be opened on its own without having to lift the entire tailgage.
However, mine will not stay up, at least not more than about 10% of the
time.
blown head-gasket or blown engine?11 May 2006 21:37 GMT27
I've got coolant coming out my exhaust...from what I've read, its alot
of work to tear down the engine to the point where you can examine the
head gasket to know if that is the problem. Can anyone estimate how
many hours a mechanic should take to do this?  And if its not the
E34 Touring sunroof questions11 May 2006 20:59 GMT1
I recently bought a 1992 525i Touring and there appears to be some
things not quite right about the sunroof.
#1: when the front sunroof is open, I can see what looks to be an
insulating pad resting loosely between the exterior and interior parts
My e38 740i discs/rotors....11 May 2006 16:57 GMT6
My 740 failed the MoT test on corroded front discs.  I didn't think
they looked too bad until I took one off.  The outer side isn't too bad
but the inner has a lot of rust and the shiny part of the disc is about
half the width.  The pad seems to have worn top and bottom and only
BMW E39 Cables11 May 2006 12:52 GMT1

gps, cd-canger, etc. with a low price?
Car Audio question: Anyone tried a IPOD CONNECTION RETROFIT KIT10 May 2006 22:49 GMT12
I have a 2001 530 and would like to add an IPOD to my standard RDS
business head unit.
I understand that it may be possible to add one from the following:
