I have an 840 and left it for 10 days recently and the relatively new
batteries (BOTH batteries less than 6 months old) were flat.  I had the
car checked out for an obvious battery drain and I was told that there
was nothing specific.  I was informed that the 8 series has a lot of

I have an 89 E30 325i.Intermittantly i am getting the Check Brake light
warning come up,but by the time i check the actual lights they appear to be
working ok.
I had a similar problem on my E34 535 and it was down to the brake pedal

I have a 1998 740i - a great car in all respects except the AC. It has
always seemed borderline to me. But, it was adequate until recently. The
dealer put in 1/2 pound of coolant and told me that the AC was
performing up to new car specifications. I don't buy it - something is

I am just reporting back on the solution to my "sticky throttle" /
"surge" / "sluggishness at low power" / "step change in
power" problem on my E46 330ci.
Just as a recap, the car felt sluggish in first gear and sometimes,

I recently bought a 2nd hand E39 525 TDS Touring (1997). It is in very good
conditions and it has "only" 150.000 Km (not so much in 9 years).

I have a 94 E36 2dr Coupe and i have been noticing a bad smell in my
exaust after highway or traffic driving. It does get a lot after hard
driving and i wonder what could that might be? it has 60k and the
muffler was replaced a little over a year ago.

Need 4 digit code so radio will work. Original radio in 525it '93.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find or get this code?

Folks,
        would anyone have an opinion as to whether buying a 3 series car
with 30,000 miles on the clock,would be a worse deal than buying a 5 series
with the same mileage?Both being otherwise equal..I'm speaking of engine

Hi have tried to locate  the pollen filter ,  I have removed the glove box

My 2000 E46 has started to make "creeking" sounds when turning the steering
wheel at very low (parking lot) speeds.  Where should I look to find the
source of the noise?  What can I do to make it stop?

i have recently bought a bmw 6 series and when i am using the navigation
system the map doesn't come as an option anywhere. the car was bought
second hand and came with the dvd map. the car is fitted with a cd changer
as well as the dvd drive. is there something i need to do to ...

make a 3 series with an automatic transmission?  All I see listed are the
various trims all with a manual transmission.  Just curious... in the
