95 325i overheat then oil leak24 Jun 2006 16:12 GMT5
I have a 95 325i that has over heated. The top radiator hose gets
hot but not the bottom hose. I was going to try to fix it myself
because I thoght it could either be one of two things, the thermostate,
or the water pump. then I noticed that there was oil leaking that had
Aftermarket Tire Pressure Monitors23 Jun 2006 23:06 GMT1
I get a lot of punctures with the Conti Contact Sport 235-45/17 tires on
my 530i sport. The real problem is the stiff ride makes it hard to
notice when they've gone flat and the tire is ruined quickly. Does
anyone have experience with add-on remote pressure monitors such as the

My clutch does not return from the floor once depressed, on my 1990 535i23 Jun 2006 02:19 GMT4
My clutch does not return from the floor on my 1990 535i. It seems to
happen less when the car is cool, but has been progressively getting
worse over the past three days.  Once the clutch is stuck I cannot get
the transmission into gear, and I have to use my toe to pull the clutch

How can I determine what model upgrade disk I need to get the latest maps?

E30 Hartge H35 295mm brakes with 15" wheels?22 Jun 2006 15:47 GMT5
Hartge did a 295mm front brake kit for their E30 H35, it's a four bolt
setup. I have the chance to buy one, but the vendor THINKS it'll need
16" wheels. I'd prefer to run my 15" cross spokes.
BMW E34 525i's run a 302mm disc and can take 15" alloys. So I think I
E46 Screeching noise on turning right22 Jun 2006 04:40 GMT2
I have a 2003 model 330ci convertible (in the UK) and I have noticed a high
pitched screeching sound when turning right at slow speeds. It only happens
if the car is moving, i.e. if I just turn the steering wheel to the right
whilst stationary, no noise occurs. At higher speeds, ...

Problem with blower fan22 Jun 2006 00:18 GMT2
BMW M3 EVO 1996.
The blower fan (heating and cooling) has lost speed. It still blows but
at best at less than half speed. It happened a couple of weeks ago and
since then has only once operated at normal speed. That happened out of
2-Day Performance Center School Experience21 Jun 2006 18:37 GMT26
Just wanted to relate that I recently attended the 2-Day school at the

After I hit my second deer in a year with the 328 I convinced myself
that I needed to become a bit more comfortable with the vehicle at and

My 95 525i is approaching 100,000 miles and the shimmy

low compared to dealer and OEM numbers. Anybody tried any
