I have read that you can switch on an autolock on the E46 bmw range.
when your car goes over a certian speed the doors lock automatically!!
I think its a great idea, but i went on to read that only the dealer

Initially I could only get one speed out of the blower, so I changed the
resistor assembly and the motor works fione but I can't adjust the
temperature at all.  Even with the a/c on it still blows the same
temperature.  Change the heater setting from low to hot - same temp.
