no clutch pedal05 Jul 2006 09:36 GMT2
Please help,
Yesterday my clutch pedal stopped working. I am told it is because it
is hydralic and that it may have run dry of fluid.
I have looked for a resevoir but could not find one. Is there one?
Aux ventilation triggers alarm05 Jul 2006 07:58 GMT4
My 2002 E39 530dA touring is equipped with the Aux. Ventilation option
which is a nice feature when parking the car in direct sun. However,
it tends to set off the alarm when running - quite annoying feature!
Any suggestions on how to avoid that??
2006 3xx series - no amber rear turn signals?04 Jul 2006 21:27 GMT6
Why do you suppose BMW took away the amber turn signals from the '06 3
series?
Brake/Parking/Turn are all red, of course backup is white.
I always equated amber turn signals with European styling.
E-90 scheduled maintenance question.04 Jul 2006 12:20 GMT7
I have a 2006 E90 that will be a year old in August, but I only have about
7,000 miles on her.  If I'm reading the maintenance manual correctly I'm
only to bring the car in when the computer says it's time.  On my it's
indicated July of 2007 from the beginning.  Two years?

Miata Mx5 - BMW Z4 Compare03 Jul 2006 18:48 GMT57
Many reviews of the Z4 - a great roadster in its own right - write that the
car has a tendancy to understeer and for a sports car enthusiast lacks the
feel that translates the road through the steering wheel.
The new MX5 which obviously in a different price bracket, is more of a

E34 Camber adjustment03 Jul 2006 14:17 GMT2
My 95 E34 has gone thru a set of Michelin's quick - the previous owner
had the front shocks/springs replaced before I purchased the car, the
tires were fine upon purchase. I rotated the front set to the back
after 6 months and had to replace the whole set after 1yr. It appears
1994 318i door handle woes03 Jul 2006 09:46 GMT1
Here's the situation...my driver's side doors won't open from the
outside...door handle moves, but does not activate whatever unlatches
the door. However, they can be opened from the inside, even though
that mechanism appears to be getting weak as well. I took off the door
bonnet/hood stuck03 Jul 2006 08:06 GMT2

i activate the lever in the driver's footwell, only one side of the bonnet

E46 transmission-oil change03 Jul 2006 02:38 GMT18
My 2000 323i has about 70k miles on it now, and I was considering
having the "lifetime" tranny-oil changed as I have read is recommended
by "those in the know".  I called a local independent German-car shop,
and asked if they would do this, and they declined!  They said that
e30 Steering Problems03 Jul 2006 00:13 GMT1
My 1988 325ix has lost its power steering, I replaced the pump with a
used unit, still no difference, steering is very heavy. There are no
fluid leeks or bellows full of fluid, is it time for a rack rebuild? or
could there be something else causing the problem?.....
Buckled alloy wheel.02 Jul 2006 12:18 GMT8

What are the E numbers?02 Jul 2006 11:28 GMT5
People refer to E36, E34, E32.
What does that mean?
Volvo, Audi, just learning Bimmer.
Thanks,
Z4 vs 330ci02 Jul 2006 04:37 GMT2
I owned a 330Ci (01) which I traded in recently to get the wife her
lexus.
To get over the severe Bmw-withdrawal symptoms I am contemplating
getting a Z4 (2003/2004), which would hopefully not burn a large hole
