Radio appears to scan for stations etc but no sound!
the 6-CD player works fine ...

A good friend of mine has a fairly well loaded X5 on order. The dealer now
reports that the pwer open/close thingie for the rear hatch won't be ready
until April. So he has to accept his order (due soon) without it or wait
until spring.

Hi.  The check engine light on my '99 323iS just came
on.  I took it Autozone to get a diagnosis code.  The
codes were P1250 and P0455.  I can't find any reliable
info about these code for the E36 model.

Hello to all,  please help .  i  have a  1998 740il , the  upper
raiator  hose gets  verry  hot ,  but  the lower  radiator hose  stays
cold !  when i  remove  the radiator cap, and rev up the  engine i see
that   colant rush in  the  tank , is this meansthe   water pump is

I messed up with some touch up paint and the clear coat layer is very
thick and muddy.  How can i remove the clear coat?
Also, i put some jet black bmw touch up on, its applied well, should i
put clear coat over it? i put it on about 2 days ago.

My first post here. I've had a (pre-owned) C240 since Feb and mighty
pleased with it. I'm toying now with the idea of buying a pre-owned
5-series or 7-series BMW if I can find one for around $ 17k or so here

I just replaced my brakes, rotors and sensors all the way around on my
2001 330CI...brake indicator is still on. Will disconnecting the
battery make it reset? Is there another solution?

I recently had the ball joints replaced on my 1998 318i SE after advice
from the guy doing my service. However, the steering is still really
light, if not worse than before. What else might be causing it?

Recently I have been having problems when stopping for a peroid of 30s
to 1min, the engine revs high for a moment then the check engine light
comes on. It may stay on for 5min-10min then turns off, during this
time the engine runs rough at idle or at speed. Checking the engine

I bought my car in March with 63k.  Now it has 73k miles and, when I
start the car, the driver display shows a "Inspection" light with one
yellow and one read light.
Does that simply mean it's time for an inspection?
