BMW 324td08 Nov 2006 09:39 GMT6
I have a BMW 324td (E30), largely similar to 325 I believe, and recently on
long journeys the temp guage is behaving strangely.  For a while it seems
fine, hovering arouind the middle.  Then can rise up to 3/4 but then coming
back down.  On occasion or if in traffic the needle seems ...
new wheels question07 Nov 2006 21:48 GMT2
Just put different wheels on my 1999 e46 318.  Got hold of a set of 7 spoke
alloys from a 323/5.  The steering feels quite different (heavier), suppose
this is the bigger wheel/ smaller wider tyre configuration.
I cant see how it can, but is there a need to have the tracking
Can the speedo be recalibrated?07 Nov 2006 17:40 GMT19
I realize most speedometers read high by design (mine shows 80 mph while
the actual speed is 76 mph according to GPS).  Is there a way to adjust
the speedo?
Thanks,
89 325i cooling issue...07 Nov 2006 01:35 GMT12
I am having a cooling issue with my 89 325i and am looking for
ideas. I removed the thermostat yesterday to rule it out. I believe I
am either looking at a plugged radiator or a faulty water pump. I am
pretty sure the system is well bled so that isn't the issue.
Telephone light won't shut off06 Nov 2006 23:20 GMT4
I have a 2005 BMW X-5. I did not buy the phone or BMW Assist package. The
red light by the phone button to the right of the radio display is on and I
cannot turn it off. Any ideas? This is not a bluetooth system.
Thanks.
shift linkage c clip06 Nov 2006 22:51 GMT1
Hey everyone,
my shift linkage on my e30 325i just came apart so I looked down to
find that the connection had simply come apart. I stuck the rod back in
the eye and temporarily fastened it but, by the look of it, there is a
spark plug pictures06 Nov 2006 15:48 GMT8
Hi.  I ventured to change the spark plugs on my '99
323iS just recently.  The old spark plugs look very
"dirty".  I am handy enough to do simple jobs like this
but I don't have the experience to know what old spark
E46 Angel eyes issue06 Nov 2006 15:12 GMT3
I have a 2002 registered 325Ci sport coupe, recently I attempted to
purchase replacement headlamps which included the angel eyes.. There
seems to be a lot of confusion among third party motor-factors who
supply these aftermarket parts, My BMW coincides with the 'facelift'
1995 BMW 325i Problem: Steering Wheel Self Lock06 Nov 2006 05:01 GMT1
Help needed here.
My 1995 BMw 325i's steering wheel got self-locked today. So I tried the
usual drill: putting in my key in the ignition slot and trying to turn
the wheel, it worked as before.
1988 735i instrument cluster06 Nov 2006 04:40 GMT4
I live in California and have owned a 735i 5 spd (grey market import)
for almost 7 years.  There have always been little problems like the
drivers side seat controls not working or the miles per hour gauge not
working.  Now my mechanic says the instrument cluster has to be
service lights06 Nov 2006 00:59 GMT3
Can someone tell me what two pins to jump to turn of the oil and service
lights. Tried 7 and 19, didn't work. 01 Z3.

Radio Help Needed05 Nov 2006 15:11 GMT7
I have an E36 with the standard anti-theft radio. It says CODE on the
display, and apparently my wife and child attempted several inputs, and now
the radio will not reset even when the correct code is input.
I have two different radios with the same trouble. (this is my second E36 ...
How to remove inside side panels on 325 convertible05 Nov 2006 03:17 GMT3
I'm wanting to replace some busted speakers from my 1994 325ic.  The
rear speakers are on the side (not behind the back seat) covered by
some panels.  Does anyone know if those panels just snap off or are
there any screws that hold it in place?  Same goes for the doors.  I
iced window :-(05 Nov 2006 00:44 GMT3
Ok my dauhgter has just tried powering the drivers side window down whilst a
tad iced up, it appears to be dead now.
Is this usually just a fuse, she's been told something about a regulator(?)
for it.
