CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AFTER ABOUT 2 DAYS LATER FROM WHEN I INSTALLED A
TV/DVD STEREO AND SUBS IN MY 1997 BMW,
I USED THE AFTER MARKET HARNESS ADAPTER FOR THE RADIO WIRING.

i installed new radio 4 or 5 days ago , last night my check engine light
came on, today i had taken to a mechanic shop and had a diagnostic check
and it scanned out to be a fuse problem so i then went home to check my fuses
in glove department and trunk but didnt find any blown ...

My '91 735i has a broken transmission. Drive through first does not
work - the transmission will only work in reverse. The ATF has a burnt
smell.

I have a 1998 740i series and I was doing some in town driving.
Suddenly the transmission seemed to jolt and then I received a
"transmission failsafe prog" message on my dash panel. I've never had
this problem before. Can some one tell me how much of a problem this

I had a BMW OEM alarm installed in my 2005 Z4. It is the basic alarm
(without the sensors in the footwells).
Two questions:
There are no alarm stickers on the windows. Does this alarm come with them
