E36: mudflap scraping road20 Feb 2007 17:11 GMT4
In my 1996 328i SE Auto, when driving briskly sometimes a sharp turn
or dip in the road can result in a brief whooshing sound, which I'm
sure is a mudflap scraping the road. Does it both sides. I've
mentioned it to my local garage (not a BMW specialist, although

It's been a while since I've posted in the a.a.b newsgroup. I cannot
begin to tell you how much money the advice from some of our 'members' has
saved me over the past few years.
I'm looking for a little advice tonight. I'm seeking a 2nd car.
E39 530 Instrument Cluster Exchange19 Feb 2007 02:05 GMT2
I have been seeing a lot of M5 instrument clusters on Ebay. The M5 cluster
seems to have an oil pressure gauge in the place of the MPG on the normal
cluster. Can you replace an E39 530 instrument cluster with a cluster from
an M5 with rewiring?

Balancing or other?16 Feb 2007 08:55 GMT11
I have a 1990 (H) 535i Sport.
When the tyres got way beyond illegal on the original metrics, I ditched
them for 17s (235 45 17). Around this time I started getting a bit of a
wobble around 60MPH.
