I have a 2000 528i.  Just recently as the driver's seat heater starts
getting warm it has started to smell like somthing is smoldering.  Has
anyone experienced this before?  Any suggestions before I take it in
to the shop?

Working with a local experienced tech to get front brakes (rotors,
pads and sensors) replaced vs stealer. Car is a 1998 528i Automatic

I have an 89 325i that has recently begun having battery issues.
Sometimes when I step on the brakes, the radio cuts out for a brief
moment and then comes back on. Today, the battery light remained
illuminated until I was a few miles down the road and the radio issue

Bloody tree I was parked under 2 days ago - dropped a chunk of branch
down. underneath was a Skoda, a BMW 530 (mine) and a fiesta

My '98 E39 (77k mi.) still runs well but have started feeling a
degradation of power..looking at regular service records, a service
tech at the dealership said likely intake needs to be cleaned. Can
anyone recommend an effective  additive/product (available in the US)

1997 528i with 93K miles.  ABS lights lit up and stayed for about a week.
After I scheduled a repair, the lights went out, so I cancelled the repair.
Lights out for two weeks or so and came back on for a week and then went off
again. Any ideas what's going on?

This question was asked back in 1999 but no one ever answered it - now
I have the same problem.  How do I get the headlight out?  It's most
certainly not intuitive.

Is it possible to fry an ignition coil by plugging the ignition wires
in the wrong order?  I'm running out of ideas out to why my car won't
start since I changed the ignition wires.  I accidentely pulled out
all the old ones at the sametime instead of replacing them one by
