My 12 month old E60 has run flat wheels and tyres and I was wondering what
others thought about them ? My previous E39 was very smooth and bumps in the
road were hardly felt but I must say that is not the case with run flats.I
wonder if you can simply change wheels to ordinary ...

I have a 95 bmw 325 is .. and well the door isnt jammed so to speak ..
its the locking mech id say .. everytime i close the door anr reopen
it .. the handle sticks and i have to pull quite hard to open it ..
its the same on the outside too .. neone elts had this problem? .. or

My 97 528 started over heating about 3 weeks ago.  The viscous coupling had

I am trying to help a friend figure out why he has no interior lights
in his car. When the doors are opened (any of them), the lights should
come on but do not. I have checked the fuses (apparently there are two

Had the dealer install the alarm with the door locks, etc. In the
last few weeks the doors have stopped locking automatically and the
radio presets are gone when you turn the key on. Wife drives it and
also states that the mirrors are not acting like they did previously.

I've driven an E39 540i and an E60 545i and noticed that while the
clutch throw was fairly lengthy, the actual engagement zone was pretty
small, particularly on the E39.  Is that just the nature of the beast
on these cars or did I bump into a couple funny ones?  It's not a deal-

I have a spasmodic "groaning" seat noise when I adjust the drivers
seat from a forward position (wifes) to a rear (my) position.

it doesnt come with the Xenon headlights...are there reputable
aftermarket conversion kits or Xenon replacement headlights that are
worth mentioning or avoiding?

Getting the 1 brake light failure message on my 97 328IS. The right
brake light is indeed not working. I checked the bulb and it was fine.
I replaced it anyhow with a Sylvania with no luck. I tried cleaning
the connectors, same problem.  I tried putting the working reverse

My A/C is on auto all the time. It has been set like that for the past
year with no problems.Suddenly it has started blowing hot air out of
the windscreen vent on the drivers side. The car is a 2000 540 and has
done 73K miles. Any ideas folks?

just wondering, is there such a expired date for tires? even it is not used.
