After having my E90 (330xi) in the shop several times, the Cruise Control failure error still comes on. It's a yellow icon with speedometer diagram and exclamation point, and the cruise control is then inoperative.

Without question - HAKKAPELIITTA Rsi Winters are outstanding. Having tried many of the other brands (on my 3rd BMW) these tires have outperformed all previous makes. Incredible grip in all conditions, quiet - yes - quiet and ok at highway speeds and on on-ramps.

In my 325ix I am in the middle of a starter replacement. I am trying to find out the true use is of the "R" terminal.Does it open the power to the starter motor itself? Or, does it make it so the starter gear will engage the flywheel? Or, am I way off target? The answer may be

Setup the Homelink on our '07 328XI and it works good except it will not operate inside the garage? Pull out of the garage a couple feet and it works again. The car parks almost directly under the Chamberlain opener. Tried pulling and backing the car in with same result.

I have an E36 saloon and the owners book says H7 bulbs for both headlights and main beam. The Haynes manual also says H7 but the car is fitted with H1s. What bulbs does your E36 have and what's wrong with the books ?
