Does anyone Know what the display sign of a gear surrounding an
exclamation point means? it is display by the number 4 when shifting
and then just stays there.

browsed through some older posts regarding "dustless" brake pads...PBR
brand was one brand that was mentioned as being good...
my local mechanic said to avoid those harder brake pads (wear out
rotors faster and are prone to squeal) and just go with the BMW OEM

Just noticed this issue - I roll the windows down often, but always from
drivers console.  They all work fine this way.  My son tried to roll the
window down and back up from passnger (front) seat.  The window went down
(would not go all the way down automatically like the rest ...

I just recently bought this used car and it has a switch to change
from automatic to manual.  I don't have any experience with this.
What is this, and how do I switch gears when in manual?

I posted about this issue before, but still haven't been able to resolve
this.  The car in question is an '02 530i with sport pkg, 36k miles.  Since
I got it at 30k miles, it has not been very solid/surefooted at speeds of
85mph and above.  It feels floaty, like I'm getting hit ...

This is a Z3 coupé 3.0i model 2002.
The driver's seat is stuck at mid heigth. Impossible to move it neither up
nor down.
I used an articulated mirror to see what was happening beneath.
