e60 uncomfortable seats13 May 2007 14:33 GMT2
having previously owned an e39 528i i was disappointed with my recent

have limited lumbar support and the headrests are arched back too far.

Selling BMW vs. trading13 May 2007 04:39 GMT6
What is the general market for selling a BMW privately? I have an 04
325XI, 5 speed, low miles, still warrantied.
Do buyers generally prefer a dealer to get a certified vehicle, when
spending over 20K?

e46 climate control has mind of its own.11 May 2007 22:06 GMT7
So I have a 2001 e46 330Ci. About 6 mos. ago I was merrily driving
along and all on it's own the climate control sets the fan speed to
max. Mind you the little LED display doesn't change with the fan speed.
When it does this the only way to get back to the current setting is to

1998 E36 (328i) slow coolant loss10 May 2007 11:15 GMT7
I have an E36, 1998, 328i.  Sometime after 108,000 miles I noticed a
slight coolant loss.  Amount of loss seems dependant on mileage driven
between checks, not ambient temperatures.
I have recently replaced the coolant cap.  And I have checked the

Sounds basic! but..where to lift and support E4609 May 2007 01:20 GMT16
Hi. This should be an easy one. I want to get my e46 onto axel stands
so I can work on the brakes. The wonderful book of haynes says
-jack up using the jacking points
-support the car with stands.
