The Continental tires on my 323 still have good tread but I'm sick of the
crummy
things.   Wheels need balancing, but I'm not gonna bother, just get new
tires.

SO i have a problem.  One, i'm retarded when it comes to BMW's .  So
that will explain the rest of my post.
I wake this morning to go to work and I press my alarm and the alarm

When there is a lot of direct sunlight into the E46 car.
When you first drive it - there is a kind of crack noise from
somewhere in the back - not exactly a rattle as it can "crack" even
when the car is stationary.

I have a 2002 325xi and the manual sliding cover under the sunroof
broke. It appears that the plastic glide rails that allow you to move
the plastic/canvas cover are broken as a couple of pieces fell into my
lap while moving it and a a couple of pieces are obstructing the

The computer tells me the light is out.  I checked it and sure enough
it is not on.  I took the bulb out and it was OK.  Put it back and it
did not work.  So I took out my multimeter and checked both the bulb
for continuity and the plug for power.  There is no power to the

I need to access the positive (+'ve) ignition wire.  Is it easier to
do it from the steering wheel column or straight from the engine
compartment?  I will be splicing a wire to it.  I would rather get it
straight from the steering wheel colum, but if worse comes to

My 99 540 makes a strange noise when i pull off slow an when i'm about to
come to a complete stop like something is grinding or rubbing in the front.
Could that possible be my heel bearings? I've changed my rotos an brake pads
but the noise is still there.   thanks
