On a new 328i, alarms don't come equipped.  I feel more comfortable
with an audible alarm on a car but why doesn't BMW provide one?  Do
they have some other special deterrant that warrents not getting an
audible alarm?

My e38 has spongy brakes. when you press down on the brake pedal the
brakes engage but when you release the pedal, it does not come all the
way up still engaging the brakes. you can release the brakes by
lifting the brake pedal with your foot. My brake guy thought it was

95 bmw 740i.  The driver seat wont go forward or backward when switch
is activated.  It will travel UP & DOWN tilt and do everything else
but travel forward and back.  It worked fine until yesterday when it

I just bought a 95 BMW 525i with auto tranny.  The car does not seem
to be shifting and the tranny goes into protection mode.   What could
the problem be and is there an easy fix for this type of tranny
issue.

I should probably know this, but I'll ask anyway to save some time
doing the process of elimination.  How are the cylinders numbered on
my 328i?  Is it 1-6 front to back, or back to front?  Or something
different altogether?

When I press and hold button 1, all the windows open as they're supposed to.
However, holding button 2 doesn't close the windows as it should.
